Crystal Bay Foods seeks to provide freshest quality products at fair pricing to its clients. Specifically, they stock local stores with the freshest, longest-lasting meat and other food products available. They build long-lasting, genuine relationships with their clients that is built on the trust and professionalism that they have shown their clients over the years.
THE CHALLENGE
Long-established meat supplier Crystal Bay Seafoods LLC came to us for a rebrand and website design. They had operated using the same brand since 1986 and were starting to feel the need to refresh, modernize, and create a web presence. Originally, Crystal Bay only offered seafood products, but that has changed and expanded in recent years to include a wider variety of meat selections. They were looking for a brand that could encompass this expansion, as well as communicate the trustworthy, established nature of the company through a timeless aesthetic.
Crystal Bay acquired Rogge’s after the initial rebrand was launched, and needed to create a unique brand strategy for Rogge’s that fit seamlessly within the new Crystal Bay brand.
THE SOLUTION
The Crystal Bay Foods brand is bold, bright, and heavier in appearance, mixing clean intuitive design with textured elements. It uses slight denim and wood textures, as well as vintage-style hand-drawn animal design elements to communicate authenticity. The textures and hand-drawn features combined with more modern design choices bring together quality rooted in experience with modern service.
The Rogge’s brand utilizes many of the same design elements that Crystal Bay uses, with its own unique color palette and set of textures. The Rogge’s textures include slight stucco or whitewashed wall, and also incorporates similar hand-drawn animal design elements to supplement.
